Sometime in mid-May, I went gourd planting crazy! Now, there is a jungle of vines down in the garden and enough gourds and squash growing that I should be able to decorate almost every front porch around this fall. I can't wait! Because I love fall. I love decorating for fall.
I have swan-necked gourds, little tiny yellow and green gourds, big orange warty-looking gourds, striped white and green round gourds. It seems each day I go down to the garden, there is a new type of gourd growing. I hope they don't melt in this Oklahoma heat!
Fall is going to be fun, fun, fun!
